Requirements
Must:
- 2-4 years of experience delivering production features
- Strong experience with a modern JavaScript framework (React preferred)
- Exposure to Python
- Comfort working across the stack
- Enjoys solving problems and improving systems
- Confident communicator who collaborates well with product and design teams
Responsibilities
- Building and owning new features across front-end, back-end, and mobile
- Designing clean, reliable APIs and application logic
- Working with cloud tooling, data sources, and modern development workflows
- Supporting junior engineers and sharing best practices
- Involvement in planning, architecture, and technical decisions
Description
We are expanding our engineering team and are looking for a Mid-Level Software Engineer who wants proper ownership, modern technology, and the opportunity to play a central role in shaping a growing digital platform. If you enjoy building features end-to-end, enhancing systems, and having a significant influence on technical decisions, this role is perfect for you. You will work with a modern stack, including React, React Native, Node.js, Python, cloud-native tooling, and event-driven systems. You will take full ownership of features from ideation to deployment and iteration, with the flexibility to either specialize or maintain a broad skillset. As our engineering team grows, you will have an opportunity to influence the direction of the product. We are offering a competitive salary range of £35,000 to £45,000, equity, and hybrid working in Belfast, along with the chance for meaningful ownership of product areas and rapid progression as the team and platform scale.
