We are seeking an experienced IT Networking/Security Engineer with extensive infrastructure management experience, including supporting, designing, and managing IT infrastructure across servers, networks, storage, and cloud services. You should have hands-on cybersecurity experience, including implementing security measures, performing assessments, and handling security incidents. Knowledge of incident response and root-cause analysis capabilities is essential. A proven background in network administration and infrastructure support, strong understanding of networking protocols, and core network technologies are critical. Experience working with firewalls is mandatory. Familiarity with Microsoft 365, on-prem Active Directory, and Group Policies is required, along with knowledge of cybersecurity principles, patching, and vulnerability management. You must have the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating a positive, proactive attitude and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities
In this role, you will provide hands-on support for LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and firewall infrastructure. You will assist with the management of SD-WAN, switches, routers, Wi-Fi systems, and firewalls. Your duties will include carrying out configuration changes, upgrades, and ensuring accurate documentation of systems. You will support cloud, network, and security improvement projects, including Wi-Fi, Firewall, Endpoint Security, and Printing. Additionally, you'll play a vital role in strengthening our cybersecurity posture, focusing on risk mitigation and vulnerability remediation.

Description
This is a full-time, on-site position located in Ballymena, Northern Ireland, on a 3-month fixed-term contract. The salary for this role is between £60k and £70k (pro-rata), with working hours from Monday to Thursday, 8:15 AM to 5 PM, and Friday, 8:15 AM to 1 PM.
