Requirements
Must:
- Experience in a data, product, or business analyst role, ideally in a Product or SaaS environment.
- Strong SQL and Python skills (e.g., Pandas, NumPy) with the ability to handle large, complex datasets.
- Proficiency with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Metabase).
- Excellent communication and data storytelling skills.
- Comfort in working cross-functionally with technical and commercial teams.
- A curious and proactive mindset.
Responsibilities
- Analyze product and user data to identify trends in engagement, retention, and performance.
- Deliver clear reports and dashboards for internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and commercial teams to support decision-making.
- Build dashboards and reports to track key metrics and highlight opportunities for improvement.
- Partner with product, engineering, and design teams to embed data into every stage of development.
- Maintain high data quality and consistency across all tools.
- Shape key product and business metrics.
Description
We are MCS Group, and we are exclusively working with a rapidly growing, Northern Ireland-based tech scale-up to expand its data team. We are seeking a Product Data Analyst who will help uncover insights, shape product direction, and support commercial teams through meaningful analysis. The position is based in Belfast with a hybrid working model and offers a salary of circa £35,000. We value all conversations and assure confidentiality.
