Requirements
Must:
- Degree level qualification (or equivalent) with 2 years experience as a Business Analyst in asset management or infrastructure projects
- Minimum of 2 years experience in data analysis and visualization tools, strong proficiency in SQL
- Demonstrable experience in building complex data sets from various related data sources
- Detailed knowledge of corporate and legal data standards and compliance frameworks
- Systematic, disciplined, and analytical approach to problem-solving
- Proven ability to collaborate with cross-divisional and external stakeholders
- Proficiency in the application of system development methods, techniques, and standards
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the application of data analysis and modeling techniques to establish and maintain key asset data structures
- Elicit user requirements, develop robust specifications, and manage testing and release for line-of-business applications
- Facilitate the creation of current and future reporting services, publish departmental and corporate KPI reports, and integrate data into the central BI framework
- Lead quality assurance for data structures and components, ensuring compliance with agreed levels of security, reliability, and integrity
- Maintain policies and demonstrate knowledge of legal and corporate data standards and compliance frameworks
Description
We offer a unique 9-month temporary assignment for a Business Intelligence Analyst located in Belfast. As part of a nationwide client, you will play a critical role in developing, maintaining, and assuring data structures and applications that support effective asset management and corporate decision-making. Our team values a systematic and analytical approach, emphasizing collaboration and technical proficiency. We provide a competitive salary range of £40,000 to £45,000 (pro-rata) along with generous time off, hybrid working arrangements, and the potential for conversion or extension of the role.
