Requirements
Must:
- Experience supporting or engineering applications in a production environment
- Strong understanding of application architecture and how systems interact
- Experience with Windows and/or Linux environments
- Exposure to databases, APIs, or middleware technologies
- A logical, methodical approach to troubleshooting and problem resolution
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams
- A proactive mindset with a desire to improve how things are done
- (Nice to Have) Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or similar)
- (Nice to Have) Scripting or automation experience
- (Nice to Have) Exposure to CI/CD pipelines or DevOps practices
- (Nice to Have) Experience working in regulated or enterprise environments
Responsibilities
- Supporting, maintaining, and enhancing business-critical applications
- Troubleshooting application issues across development, test, and production environments
- Working closely with developers, infrastructure, and third-party vendors to resolve incidents and implement improvements
- Monitoring application performance, availability, and stability
- Supporting deployments, upgrades, and configuration changes
- Contributing to documentation, knowledge sharing, and best-practice processes
- Participating in incident management and root cause analysis
- Identifying opportunities for automation and optimisation
