Requirements
Must:
- I am looking for candidates who are working towards a degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematical Studies, or a Computing discipline.
- Candidates must be British citizens or dual UK nationals with British citizenship. There may be restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work.
- After the offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.
Responsibilities
- In this role, you will work within the Weapon System Simulation and Experimentation (WSSE) team to design and develop advanced software applications and simulations that support synthetic battlefield experiments, weapon system integration, product concept, and design.
- You will have the opportunity to engage in problem-solving across a broad spectrum of MBDA's programs, focusing on improving our agility and time to market.
- Your work will include concept demonstrations with customers and stakeholders, integration, trials, experimentation, and training with in-service operators.
- You will gain experience in software development methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall, and will receive training in new programming languages and software tools.
- You will take part in developing, integrating, and deploying software and simulation components, while also working alongside experts in various disciplines, including system engineering, networking, hardware integration, and algorithms.
Description
