Requirements
Must:
- Experience in mathematical analysis / modelling
- Experience in numerical simulation
- Knowledge of Data Science, particularly in machine learning
- Familiarity with geospatial data and/or geographical information systems
- Experience in software development
- A numerate graduate or post-graduate qualification
- Ability and confidence to work with mathematics
- Commitment to product quality and adherence to procedures
- Desire to make a significant impact within the MBDA engineering community
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and test mathematical algorithms using Matlab/Simulink and Python
- Interpret technical specifications and collaborate with other departments to understand algorithm applications
- Work closely with the software team to define algorithm implementation
- Influence algorithm development within the team and across MBDA
- Demonstrate a dedication to quality through progressive thinking and rigor
