- In this role, I will involve you in identifying security risks within complex weapon systems, products, and solutions. - You will help implement effective and balanced security measures to address those risks. - I expect you to assist with the timely integration of information assurance activities with weapon system engineering, design, manufacturing, and support programmes. - You will have opportunities to contribute to trade studies related to weapon system information security and provide necessary security documentation and evidence to meet MOD security assurance requirements. - Throughout the systems engineering lifecycle, you'll work on specifying security requirements, developing security architectures, and enabling their sustainable evolution. - Additional tasks may include supporting hardware, electronics, and software developments, maintaining corporate information assurance knowledge, and working with manufacturing to ensure security design consistency. - You can expect exposure to various stages of the product development lifecycle, as well as opportunities for travel both nationally and internationally. - You will also engage with stakeholders—engineering teams, sub-contractors, customers, and assurance teams—providing guidance on acceptable and balanced information security solutions. - I will ensure you gain experience in generating information security Risk Assessments, Risk Treatment Plans, and Risk Management and Assurance Documents.
