Requirements
Must:
As a successful candidate, I am looking for individuals with extensive or specialist experience in areas such as RF, High Speed, Analogue, Power, Signal Integrity (SI), or EMC. I value good negotiation and influencing skills to ensure design requirements are suitable for production processes. It is essential that I find someone who can lead and support design reviews and new technology introductions, both nationally and internationally. A substantial knowledge and experience of PCB design practices for high-reliability products is key, along with expertise in PCB fabrication processes and technologies like materials and stack-ups. Strong communication skills are necessary to facilitate regular interactions with all relevant stakeholders, including our international partners.
Responsibilities
In this role, I expect you to be part of our PCB Layout team, which provides a full PCB Layout Service to all Internal Programmes. You will be working closely with engineers and PCB suppliers, developing complex PCB layouts based on various technical requirements such as electrical, mechanical, thermal, and environmental factors. This will involve developing and adapting emerging technologies to meet our high reliability standards, while consistently maintaining high production yields delivered on time, within budget, and with quality assurance. Additionally, mentoring and participating in knowledge sharing with fellow team members will be an important part of your role in fostering development for both yourself and others.
Description
I am excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for personal and professional development in a friendly and supportive environment with highly talented colleagues. This role is located in Stevenage or Bolton, with a dynamic hybrid working model requiring 2 days per week onsite, depending on workload classification. A relocation package may be available for the right candidate. I will also ensure that a company bonus of up to £2,500 is possible based on overall company performance, along with a maximum total pension contribution of up to 14% (from both employer and employee). You will have opportunities for paid overtime and up to 15 additional days of flexi leave, as well as enhanced parental leave options. Our site features fantastic facilities, including subsidised meals and free parking. At MBDA, I take pride in supporting the Armed Forces and fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment. I encourage you to reach out if you need any advice, support, or adjustments throughout the recruitment process.
