We are looking for a Crypto Network Specialist who has a solid understanding of cryptographic equipment and management processes, including key lifecycle, custody, evidence, and compliance. You should be self-motivated, ambitious, and tenacious, with the ability to work under pressure. A strong analytical mindset and a methodical approach to document management are essential. Additionally, strong IPv4 fundamentals such as subnetting, routing, ACLs, NAT, and troubleshooting, as well as familiarity with common enterprise protocols (OSPF/BGP, HSRP/VRRP, 802.1Q, Port-Channels) are necessary. You should be comfortable working with Microsoft Office, Windows Server/AD, Linux, and VMware vSphere to support network/security services. Experience working with monitoring tools (such as PRTG or Nagios) to inform troubleshooting is also required.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will own our cryptographic estate and processes and be an active, hands-on member of the Network Security team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and governing crypto operations.
- Managing Crypto Network processes, including ordering, key material edition validity, and equipment deliveries.
- Ensuring Crypto Management Plans are completed and submitted to relevant authorities on time.
- Performing mandated checks on cryptographic devices and documenting them according to agreed standards.
- Collaborating with Crypto custodians to ensure accurate information transfer and maintaining records.
- Coordinating crypto change windows (key loads/rollovers), supporting incident responses related to crypto assets, and driving continuous improvement in crypto processes.
- Managing internet domain registrations, contributing to documentation, and supporting the Network Security Manager with the daily management of Network Security engineers.
- Reporting to the Network Operations Manager and helping to implement secure changes, identify vulnerabilities, manage incidents, and ensure compliance with accreditation requirements.

We offer a competitive salary of up to £60,000, depending on experience, and a company bonus of up to £2,500 based on performance.
