Requirements
Must:
- Proven track record in delivering SAP S/4HANA and SuccessFactors solutions.
- Strong understanding of SaaS architecture, cloud integration, and data migration principles.
- Hands-on experience with the SAP Activate methodology and agile delivery.
- Prior experience working on public sector ERP programmes is highly desirable.
- Relevant SAP certifications such as Technology Associate or Solution Architect are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Define, design, and maintain the SAP S/4HANA and SuccessFactors architecture.
- Lead integration and blueprinting across Finance, HR, Payroll, and Procurement (Purchase-to-Pay) functions.
- Translate business requirements into fit-for-purpose, scalable SAP SaaS solutions.
- Oversee configuration documentation, delta design decisions, and technical alignment.
- Develop and support data migration strategies to ensure accuracy and minimal disruption during cutover.
- Ensure seamless integration between SAP, legacy systems, and external platforms.
- Implement role-based access controls and ensure ongoing compliance with data protection and governance standards.
- Manage segregation of sensitive data across systems.
- Contribute to the test strategy and oversee technical validation (SIT, UAT, Payroll Parallel Run).
- Ensure solutions meet performance, quality, and audit requirements.
- Work closely with internal teams, external system implementers, and governance forums.
- Provide expert architectural input for change control and reporting capability enhancements.
Description
We are seeking an experienced SAP Solution Architect for a contract role to support the delivery and continuous improvement of our SAP S/4HANA and SuccessFactors implementation within a leading local authority. This key position ensures the stability, scalability, and compliance of SAP solutions across Finance, HR, Payroll, and Procurement. The contract duration is 6–12 months initially, with the potential for extension, and the day rate is £700 per day (inside IR35).
