Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in server infrastructure support and administration
- Solid knowledge of VMware technologies (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter)
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy
- Exposure to HP infrastructure (e.g. Synergy, OneView, SAN) (desirable)
- SharePoint 2016 support and administration (desirable)
- Familiarity with Windows Server roles such as DFS, DHCP, DNS, Clustering (desirable)
- Experience with Veeam backup and replication tools (desirable)
- Understanding of ITIL principles and service management (desirable)
- Basic Linux knowledge (desirable)
- Must be a UK National and eligible to work in the UK
- Eligible to obtain and maintain a UK Government Developed Vetting (DV) clearance
Responsibilities
- Provide reliable third-line support, resolving incidents and troubleshooting issues across our secure infrastructure
- Maintain and administer Microsoft Windows Server environments, including Active Directory
- Support and enhance our VMware-based virtual infrastructure
- Manage backup and recovery processes using Veeam to ensure data resilience and business continuity
- Keep technical documentation up to date
- Contribute to service stability through proactive maintenance, system improvements, and adherence to change control processes
- Help improve air-gapped infrastructure onsite at our facility
