Responsibilities

In this role, I want you to provide your extensive knowledge to gather system demands from non-technical stakeholders and translate them into technical specifications. You will work autonomously with unprecedented customer access, cutting-edge technology, and industry-leading practices. Your expertise will guide the entire engineering lifecycle of a secure network, including requirements capture, system design, implementation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance. Using your deep understanding of network architecture, you will manage and create the IT infrastructure for a revolutionary synthetic test and evaluation system. You will also demonstrate your multi-vendor network and IT system experience while providing third-line support to meet the demands of the business. Furthermore, I expect you to act as a mentor, coaching colleagues with less experience to complete projects on time and follow our change management procedures.

Description

I am proud to support a diverse Digital Services Group (DSG) responsible for satisfying the technological requirements of the most secure settings. You will be joining forces with our Electronic Warfare Operations Support Group (EWOS), consisting of over 60 electronic warfare professionals from various backgrounds. We offer a range of benefits, including 25 days of annual leave (inclusive of a 3-day December shutdown), options to buy or sell additional leave, two pension schemes, private medical and dental insurance (with family discounts), life assurance up to 4 times your salary, multiple save schemes, an electric/hybrid car leasing scheme, a cycle-to-work scheme, retail discounts, and continuous professional development support. Wellbeing is at the heart of our culture; we value our employees and offer programs and policies to support individual growth. You will need to be a UK national and be eligible to obtain and maintain a UK Government DV-level security clearance due to the highly secure nature of the projects. If you are interested in how working with us could benefit you, I encourage you to apply today!
