Requirements
Must:
- Must be eligible to work in the UK (no sponsorship provided).
- Strong hands-on experience with IBM Planning Analytics (TM1).
- Proficient in Turbo Integrator (TI) scripting, TM1 Rules, and performance optimization.
- Experience in building scalable, high-performance planning, budgeting, and forecasting models.
- Familiarity with the end-to-end TM1 development lifecycle, including upgrades, configuration, and system administration.
- Integration experience with ERP systems (ideally SAP) and other enterprise data sources.
- Solid understanding of Information Systems concepts, including the Full Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Ability to design and implement data flows, automation, and ETL processes.
- Troubleshooting skills for technical issues and optimizing model performance.
- Basic exposure to Power BI for data visualization (training can be provided).
- Familiarity with Alteryx (desirable, not essential).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Strong communication skills to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Good collaborative approach to teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Finance, FP&A, and Commercial teams to understand their planning, budgeting, and forecasting needs.
- Develop, enhance, and maintain TM1/IBM Planning Analytics models, cubes, dimensions, and hierarchies.
- Build and optimize TI Processes and TM1 Rules to automate data loads, calculations, and business logic.
- Oversee technical development across TM1 to ensure high performance, scalability, and best-practice model design.
- Integrate TM1 with ERP systems and other data sources to ensure accurate and consistent data flow.
- Lead improvements to existing processes to enhance efficiency and reporting capability.
- Manage system issues, including upgrades, configuration, and vendor relationships (including IBM).
- Facilitate workshops, gather requirements, and provide support to stakeholders for informed decision-making.
- Maintain documentation of models, processes, and system changes for governance.
- Deliver training, user guides, and support knowledge-sharing across the TM1 community.

We are a global organization looking to secure a Senior TM1 Developer for a hands-on role centered on IBM Planning Analytics (TM1). The position focuses on strategic financial planning and performance reporting, with a commitment to the continuous improvement of TM1. In this position, you will work collaboratively with finance teams and contribute to the overall success of our financial operations.
