Requirements
Must:
- Proven pre-sales experience within a telecoms network environment
- Strong understanding of operations and implementation
- Working knowledge of technologies used across customer estates
- Knowledgeable in network architecture and infrastructure including LAN and WAN
- Solid understanding of LAN & WAN networking protocols and technologies, including switching, routing, and security
- Ability to produce professional, well-structured documentation that is clear and concise
- Understanding of Data Centre environments and application data flow is beneficial but not essential
- Previous experience within a Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) environment is highly advantageous
- Eligible for, or already in possession of, security clearance
Responsibilities
- Produce high-level solution overviews, technical responses, scopes, and deliverables
- Develop pricing proposals for operational telecom solutions
- Collaborate with client stakeholders, third-party partners, and internal Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)
- Capture and interpret customer requirements translating them into effective technical solutions
- Propose scalable and repeatable solutions using existing portfolio services
- Support quality assurance by promoting standardized design and implementation methodologies
- Gather and prepare information for technical and commercial submissions as part of pre-sales activities
- Prepare bills of materials and breakdown professional services requirements
- Address contractual obligations to deliver comprehensive proposals
