- Experienced in managing and delivering complex projects, including managing scope changes, budgets, risk, and timelines
- Possesses strong problem-solving skills
- Performance-oriented leadership ability to lead and supervise a team, setting goals and expectations
- Confident negotiator & influencer, comfortable operating at a senior level
- Hard-working & flexible attitude
- Strong commercial acumen with a focus on analysing and implementing best practices
- Commitment to developing a high-performance culture
- Full UK driving license & willingness to travel
Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic planning, governance, and delivery oversight of a portfolio of complex Overhead Lines projects and programmes
- Develop and maintain a portfolio strategy aligned with business objectives
- Prioritise projects and programmes based on strategic value, risk, resource availability, and security
- Establish and maintain robust governance structures for portfolio management
- Monitor compliance with internal standards, regulatory obligations, and industry best practices
- Oversee portfolio-level budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance
- Identify and manage portfolio-level risks, dependencies, and constraints
- Act as the primary interface for portfolio-related matters with internal and external stakeholders
- Lead, develop, and mentor a high-performing team of Project Managers
- Drive adoption of digital tools and data analytics for portfolio optimisation
