Responsibilities

- Set and own the enterprise DevOps approach, defining clear standards for CI/CD pipelines, environments, release practices, and automation that apply consistently across all software delivery. - Govern and assure DevOps practices delivered by System Integrator partners and internal teams, ensuring they meet M Group expectations for quality, security, traceability, and auditability. - Define and oversee the enterprise environment strategy, ensuring non-production environments are stable, production-like, and automated to support reliable testing and release decisions. - Embed security, quality checks, and operational visibility into delivery as standard, reducing late-stage risk and increasing confidence in what is released to production. - Use data and insight to give leaders a clear, honest view of delivery health, risks, and improvement opportunities, focusing on long-term fixes rather than short-term workarounds. - Act as the recognised enterprise authority for DevOps, working across Technology, Service Operations, and partners to promote consistent, automated, and sustainable ways of working.
