Requirements
Must:
- Strong SQL & Python skills
- Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools (e.g., Matillion, Talend, FiveTran, Azure Data Factory)
- Experience designing and managing cloud data platforms (Snowflake essential; AWS/Azure/GCP desirable)
- Solid data modelling knowledge and performance optimisation skills
- Awareness of data governance, security, and regulatory compliance
- Ability to work closely with technical and business teams to deliver impactful solutions
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with orchestration tools (Airflow, dbt, Prefect) or streaming frameworks (Kafka, Kinesis)
- CI/CD experience and DevOps practices for data workflows
- Exposure to data visualisation platforms (PowerBI, Tableau, MicroStrategy)
- Experience in financial services or other highly regulated industries
Responsibilities
- Build, test, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured data
- Design and optimise data warehouses, lakes, and cloud-native platforms
- Implement monitoring, security, and compliance frameworks in line with regulations (e.g., GDPR, financial standards)
- Deliver high-quality datasets to analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders
- Work with modern technologies, including cloud platforms, orchestration tools, and streaming frameworks
