Requirements
Must:
- Significant experience working with finance or practice management systems in a professional-services environment
- Strong understanding of financial processes such as billing, work-in-progress, collections, and reporting
- Proven experience leading system enhancements, optimisation initiatives, or integrations
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including senior leadership
- Ability to translate business needs into structured technical or functional deliverables
- Analytical and detail-focused approach with a continuous improvement mindset
- Experience working with complex enterprise finance platforms (desirable)
- Familiarity with data structures, reporting, or system integrations (desirable)
- Experience coordinating cross-functional delivery teams (desirable)
- Background in legal, financial, or professional-services organisations (desirable)
Responsibilities
- Own the product vision, roadmap, and enhancement pipeline for the finance system
- Maintain and prioritise a structured backlog of enhancements, fixes, integrations, and configuration changes
- Lead the delivery of system improvements from requirements through to release
- Work closely with finance, technology, and operational teams to align systems with business processes
- Act as the primary point of contact for system functionality, improvements, and future direction
- Coordinate internal delivery resources and external partners to deliver enhancements effectively
- Manage upgrades, patches, and module or feature implementations
- Establish and maintain strong system governance, documentation, and data quality standards
- Oversee issue triage and ensure effective resolution with support teams and vendors
- Communicate roadmap priorities, progress, and releases to stakeholders at all levels
Description
At Lynx, we are seeking an experienced Finance Systems Product Manager to take ownership of our core practice management and finance platform within a dynamic, multi-office professional-services organisation. This strategic, hands-on role will allow you to combine product ownership, stakeholder engagement, and delivery leadership to drive continuous improvement and maximize long-term value from our system. You will work closely with various teams and play a critical role in aligning our systems with business processes, while ensuring strong system adoption.
