Requirements
Must:
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft technologies
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively
- Organised, proactive, and able to manage a varied workload
- Experience working in a Service Desk or IT support environment
- Understanding or certification in ITIL (desirable)
Responsibilities
- Deliver first-line IT support via the Service Desk
- Provide excellent customer service and technical assistance to end users
- Support a range of IT issues across hardware and software
- Assist with hardware commissioning and decommissioning
- Carry out general IT support tasks as required
- Work collaboratively with Technical Analysts and wider IT teams
Description
We are currently recruiting for an IT Technical Support Officer to join our busy and forward-thinking Digital, Data and Technology team based in Brentwood, Essex. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong customer service skills and a solid technical foundation to play a key role in delivering high-quality IT support services. Our working hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, with a compensation of £15.99 per hour.
