Requirements
Must:
- Hands-on VCF design and delivery experience (vSphere, NSX-T, vSAN, SDDC Manager)
- Ability to architect and troubleshoot at a high level
- Active SC clearance or confirmed eligibility and willingness to undergo HMG vetting
- Demonstrated ability to produce HLD/LLD documentation and lead design authority
- Direct experience delivering datacentre migrations at scale (P2V, V2V, on-premises to cloud)
- Multi-vendor infrastructure design spanning compute, storage, networking, and security in enterprise or public sector environments
Responsibilities
- Lead network and security architecture across hybrid cloud environments
- Produce HLD / LLD documentation and own technical design authority
- Design and deliver VCF-based solutions (vSphere, NSX-T, vSAN)
- Plan and execute datacentre migrations at scale
- Implement or oversee IaC pipelines using Terraform or Ansible
- Contribute to GitOps working practices and CI/CD pipeline design
- Engage stakeholders at programme board and CTO level
- Provide technical governance on complex infrastructure programmes
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to pre-sales activities
Description
We are a leading Professional Services Consultancy/Solution Provider hiring an experienced Cloud Networking and Security Consultant to join our infrastructure practice. This fully remote role requires onsite visits to customer sites across the UK. Our compensation reflects technical competency and commercial abilities, with salaries ranging from £60,000 to £105,000 depending on the role. You will work with a variety of clients, including central government, defence, and critical national infrastructure, designing and delivering advanced networking and security solutions.
