Must:
We are looking for an individual with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar IT support or helpdesk role, specifically within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment. You should possess strong technical knowledge of Windows environments and Office 365, as well as a basic understanding of networking concepts (routers, switches, VPNs, etc.). Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach are essential. We value organization, reliability, and proactivity in our team members. A full UK driving license and transport are essential, and this requirement is non-negotiable. Desirable qualifications include relevant IT certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, ITIL, etc.) and previous experience mentoring or training junior team members.
Responsibilities
In this role, I will expect you to provide 1st and 2nd Line technical support to both our customers and internal users. You will troubleshoot and resolve issues related to hardware, software, and networking, escalating complex issues when necessary and following them up to resolution. Mentoring and supporting junior staff, including apprentices, will also be part of your responsibilities. Maintaining accurate documentation of tickets, systems, and procedures, as well as supporting the continuous improvement of our IT systems and processes, will be crucial tasks.
