Requirements
Must:
We are seeking a Vulnerability Management Support Engineer with the following qualifications:
- Understanding of Information/Cyber Security principles and technologies.
- Familiarity with scripting and automation (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
- Knowledge of cyber risk and attack methods across endpoints, cloud, and on-premise networks.
- Experience with ticketing systems (JIRA, ServiceNow).
- Ability to generate reports and maintain documentation.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Collaborating with system, application, and infrastructure teams to prioritize and remediate vulnerabilities across on-premise and cloud environments.
- Tracking and updating remediation statuses using dashboards and ticketing systems.
- Assisting in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions under supervision.
- Maintaining documentation of exceptions, waivers, and risk acceptances.
- Supporting updates to the asset inventory and CMDB related to scan coverage and tool integration.
- Acting as a liaison between security teams and IT teams for vulnerability remediation.
- Linking vulnerability IDs (CVEs) to corresponding tickets for traceability.
- Generating regular reports and maintaining SOPs and runbooks for remediation tasks.
