Requirements
Must:
- Extensive knowledge of NEC EDM / Info@Work, including module configuration and back-end administration
- Strong experience with NEC Revenues & Benefits, particularly its administration functions.
- Previous experience leading and delivering application module implementations, including:
- Work planning and scoping
- Liaising with business users
- Configuring back-end parameters
- Managing and conducting testing cycles
- Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience with NEC Revenues & Benefits and NEC EDM
- Experience supervising a team and promoting best practices
Responsibilities
- Support the Revenues & Benefits team with project delivery, system optimisation, and new module implementations.
- Act as the technical expert for NEC EDM (Info@Work) and NEC Revenues & Benefits, including back-end administration.
- Oversee the implementation of the following NEC EDM modules:
- Data Integration Hub
- Email Connect
- Document Bundling
- Manage and support the day-to-day running of the Councils IT applications, ensuring service levels are met and continuously improved.
- Lead and support a team of up to 10 Application Support Officers, promoting best practice and excellent customer service.
- Provide occasional out-of-hours support for technical processes or system upgrades.
Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Application Support Officer to join our IT Operations team and take a leading role in delivering specialist project work for our Revenues and Benefits service. This is an exciting opportunity to make an impact with your technical expertise and management skills. The position is based in Bristol, onsite 2 to 3 days a week, with an expected duration of 4 months and a rate of £400 per day. We are committed to modernising and streamlining our services and need someone who can lead this transformation.
