Requirements

Must:
- Hands-on experience implementing and supporting SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC) - Experience delivering core IGA capabilities including Joiner/Mover/Leaver workflows, access certifications, provisioning and RBAC models - Strong integration experience with Active Directory, Entra ID, AWS, HR systems and enterprise platforms - Experience developing and maintaining SailPoint identity workflows and automation using scripting or APIs (e.g. PowerShell, REST APIs, BeanShell or similar) - Solid understanding of identity lifecycle management, access governance and least-privilege principles - Experience working effectively as part of a cross-functional engineering team - Ability to work collaboratively within the IGA engineering team to deliver agreed outcomes - Comfortable contributing ideas, improvements and technical input within a collaborative team environment Desirable skills: - Experience working in financial services or regulated environments - SailPoint certification (Identity Security Cloud Engineer or similar) - Experience contributing to identity governance maturity improvements within a team - Familiarity with Agile or structured delivery methodologies - Exposure to Zero Trust, risk-based access models or compliance-driven access controls - Experience working closely with AD, Security, HR or Cloud teams to implement governance controls

Responsibilities

- Configure, support and enhance SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC) across enterprise and hybrid environments - Integrate SailPoint ISC with HR systems, Active Directory, Entra ID, AWS, ServiceNow and other enterprise platforms to enable automated provisioning, lifecycle management and deprovisioning - Deliver and maintain core identity governance capabilities including Joiner/Mover/Leaver (JML), certifications, RBAC, policy enforcement and least-privilege controls - Support onboarding of applications using standard connectors (e.g. AD, SCIM, REST, JDBC, web services) - Develop and maintain configuration and automation scripts (PowerShell, BeanShell, Java where required) - Work in alignment with IAM team priorities and support delivery of the agreed IGA roadmap - Work collaboratively with IAM, Architecture, AD, Security Engineering, HR and Cloud teams to embed governance controls effectively - Contribute to improving identity lifecycle processes and raising the maturity of identity governance across the organisation - Support operational stability, issue resolution and continuous improvement of the identity platform - Participate in risk remediation activities and compliance-driven access control improvements

Description


We are seeking a SailPoint Engineer to join our established IAM team on a 6-month contract based in Manchester, working onsite once per week or fortnight. Our organization values collaboration and effective communication; hence, you will work closely with IAM colleagues and stakeholders to align on priorities and achieve collective goals. This role offers competitive pay of £650 - £740 per day inside IR35, along with the opportunity to improve identity governance processes within a dynamic and supportive team environment.
