Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain technical publication stylesheets using PERL
- Design and implement database solutions for storing and retrieving company information
- Install and configure information systems to ensure optimal functionality
- Analyze, plan, and define data architecture frameworks, including security and metadata
- Migrate data from legacy systems to new solutions
- Conduct tests, troubleshoot issues, and integrate new elements to improve system performance
- Optimize new and existing database systems
- Define security and backup procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to devise data strategies and build models
- Provide operational support for Management Information Systems
Description
We are seeking a talented PERL Software Developer to join our team in Stevenage, where you will work onsite one day a month. This role offers a competitive hourly rate of £84 and is expected to last between 3 to 6 months. We are excited to welcome someone passionate about software development, particularly focused on creating and updating text-based templates for Technical Publications authoring and publishing tasks. While knowledge of Technical Publications publishing processes is a plus, it is not mandatory. Youll assist in developing various applications and reporting tools across multiple coding domains.
