Application Support Engineer (SQL)

Requirements
Must:
We are looking for individuals with a proven track record in Application Support or 1st Line Support roles, particularly in customer-facing scenarios. You should possess strong hands-on skills in SQL and/or Azure SQL, as well as experience with Entra ID and Azure Active Directory. The ability to support users and customers remotely is essential. A solid understanding of relevant methodologies and processes such as ITIL and Change Management would also be beneficial.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will take charge of 1st line application support. Your main tasks will include addressing support requests, prioritizing tickets, and escalating them to 2nd Line or higher as necessary. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team involving DevOps, Infrastructure, and others to ensure everything runs smoothly. Knowledge sharing is key, as you'll work with colleagues to resolve and prevent issues. Additionally, you'll contribute to relevant projects, support configuration and change deployments, and help establish best practices to ensure alignment with agreed processes. We also want you to bring fresh ideas to enhance our workflows and processes.
