Requirements
Must:
- Strong experience with Rest API automation testing in Java
- Proficient in Java libraries and frameworks: Lombok, Spring Boot
- Experience with stub testing tools: yaml, wiremock, Mockito, SOAP API testing
- Proficient in OOP programming languages: Java or C#
- Experience with tools such as Cucumber Gherkin, Postman, Junit
- Familiarity with CI/CD integration using Gitlab/Jenkins
- Familiarity with Git version control: Gitlab/GitHub
- Experience with JIRA or any issue tracking system
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and exposure to BDD methods
- Experience in the banking/financial services domain
- Highly desirable: Knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS modules, e.g., CloudWatch, Athena) and stream-processing platforms (Kafka)
- Nice to have: Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute automated tests for Rest APIs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality in software development
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning
- Utilize tools such as Cucumber Gherkin and Postman for testing
- Ensure continuous integration and delivery using Gitlab/Jenkins
- Monitor application performance and logs using AWS CloudWatch
- Document testing processes and update JIRA for tracking
- Engage in discussions about improvements in testing processes
- Stay updated with industry trends, particularly in cloud technologies and automation
