Must:
We are looking for someone with an MSc or BSc in Computer Science, Data Science, Bioinformatics, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. The ideal candidate should have proven experience designing and deploying MLOps pipelines (such as MLflow, Azure ML, Azure DevOps, etc.). Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with common ML/AI libraries (like scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Keras, etc.) are essential. You should also have experience in implementing machine learning and large language models (LLMs), which includes deployment, monitoring, and retraining, as well as familiarity with software engineering guidelines, including version control (e.g., Git), CI/CD, containerization (e.g., Docker), and workflow orchestration. A knowledge of cloud platforms and scalable compute environments is preferred, with a focus on Azure. An understanding of data governance, model documentation, and reproducibility in a regulated or research-heavy context is also important. Lastly, we seek someone who can align machine learning initiatives with business objectives within scientific or regulated environments.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will compose, construct, and uphold resilient machine learning operations (MLOps) pipelines that facilitate the complete lifecycle of AI models, from creation to implementation and supervision. You will ensure the successful deployment of machine learning and large language models (LLMs) in practical operational settings, effectively transforming research findings into functional business tools. Facilitating the progress and examination of ML models, you will engage with both standard machine learning and neural network-focused models as required by our R&D teams. Additionally, you will develop standardized, reusable workflows applicable across different projects and scientific areas while collaborating with scientists and engineers to incorporate AI solutions into daily R&D tasks. Your efforts will involve implementing tools for version control, testing, and continuous integration, ensuring quality, security, and traceability of AI solutions. You will also be responsible for developing automated reporting systems that make results from AI models easier to interpret, share, and act upon.
