Requirements
Must:
- Degree in Mathematics, Data Science, Finance, or Statistics
- Experience in data analysis of large-scale, distributed data sets
- Knowledge of process automation
- Interest in the financial industry with domain knowledge of investment and securities and/or Artificial Intelligence applications
- Understanding of risk management concepts including VaR, stress testing, and scenario analysis
- Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Tableau) and process workflow automation tools (e.g., Alteryx)
- Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python)
- Strong analytical and data manipulation skills
- Excellent statistical modeling skills
- Flexible and results-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
- Manage and analyze data across platforms such as Bloomberg PORT and MARS
- Ensure data quality and develop risk analytics
- Enhance automation in risk management
- Engage with LOIM Investment Risk Managers and primary stakeholders to design and implement analytical solutions across all asset classes
- Take ownership of risk and performance dashboards along with data sourcing processes
- Drive the migration of existing processes to automated platforms leveraging Artificial Intelligence
- Manage existing data sets and ensure analytics tools correctly source data
- Maintain risk calculations and process feeds to external calculators
- Respond to and prioritize ad-hoc requests for information
- Challenge existing processes and data feeds with the LOIM-IT and data community
