- I hold a degree in Cyber Security, Information Security, Computer Science, or possess equivalent experience.
- I have certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CEH, CompTIA Security, or similar, which are highly advantageous.
- I bring hands-on experience with Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus.
- I have a proven background in security audits, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessments.
- I possess strong knowledge of NCSC best practices and how to apply them for SMEs.
- I have experience in developing security policies, analyzing logs, and supporting incident response.
- I communicate excellently, capable of explaining complex issues in a simple and clear manner.
- I can manage multiple client projects independently and confidently.

Responsibilities
- I carry out in-depth baseline cyber security assessments for SME clients.
- I recommend practical, cost-effective products and services to address identified security gaps.
- I lead clients through the Cyber Essentials certification process from start to finish.
- I support clients in progressing to Cyber Essentials Plus, ensuring compliance with enhanced security requirements.
- I create, refine, and update tailored cyber security policy documents.
- I conduct annual cyber audits to track progress, maintain compliance, and highlight risks.
- I perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to uncover and remediate potential threats.
- I analyze and monitor security logs across diverse platforms, identifying and responding to suspicious activity.
- I assess and manage third-party supplier risks.
- I develop and enhance incident response and disaster recovery plans to ensure businesses can respond effectively to disruptions.
