We are looking for candidates with expert knowledge of current Java and proficiency in other programming languages such as Python, C++, JavaScript, TypeScript, or React. Experience in developing on Linux, as well as advanced understanding of mocking and unit testing frameworks like JUnit 5.x (Jupiter) is essential. Candidates should be well-versed in Git version control, proficient in Agile development using SCRUM, and possess advanced knowledge of Oracle/Relational databases and/or Mongo. Experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines, Apache NiFi, and the Atlassian Suite (Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence) is also required. Familiarity with Elasticsearch, Kibana, Hibernate, and AWS Services (EC2, EKS, Fargate, IAM, S3, Lambda) is crucial. Candidates should have experience developing software for cloud deployment, specifically AWS, and a strong understanding of the challenges in transitioning on-prem workloads to the cloud.
We appreciate any of the following qualifications or certifications: Oracle Java Certification, AWS Certification, ISTQB Certification, OSCP Certification, and CCNA Certification.

Responsibilities
As a Staff Software Engineer at Lockheed Martin, you will play a pivotal role in planning, conducting, and coordinating software development activities. Youll work closely with customers and key stakeholders to identify requirements and influence the adoption of suitable architectures and solutions. Responsibilities also include designing and developing tests to debug software, working with customer requirements for business/mission applications, and mentoring junior engineers. Youll be involved in analyzing system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, championing automation through Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), and test automation.
You will be integral to developing cutting-edge DevSecOps software systems and applications, driving innovation, and safeguarding digital infrastructures.
