Requirements
Must:
- I am looking for someone skilled at active listening with experience in technical mentoring.
- You should have the ability to direct staff to achieve technical objectives and solutions.
- The ideal candidate can manage tasks and priorities to ensure the assigned workload is delivered on time.
- A positive attitude and willingness to engage with tasks across the engineering lifecycle are essential.
- Effective communication with a wide range of audiences on complex topics is necessary.
- Proficiency in a current software development language such as Java, C/C++, Python, TypeScript, or ReactJS is required.
- Knowledge of DevSecOps approaches to automation and security, microservice architectures, Infrastructure as Code tools, and cloud technologies is a plus.
Responsibilities
- I expect you to provide day-to-day employee management, performance assessments, work assignments, approvals, and recognition/disciplinary actions.
- Leading a technical team and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver secure, high-quality software is crucial.
- You will manage your time and the team’s time effectively to meet cost and quality targets.
- Promoting and driving innovation and technical excellence across our software engineering teams is part of the role.
- Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with clients and suppliers at all organizational levels is essential.
- You will collaborate internally to drive personnel-focused process improvements and engage with customer teams to standardize approaches and implement best practices.
- Participating in technical and business meetings to ensure engineering elements are completed on schedule is expected.
- Additional program-related tasks will be assigned within your area of expertise, competence, and skill set.
