Requirements
Must:
- Demonstrable experience within User Experience design/Interaction Design
- Strong experience as an Interaction Designer, UX Designer (or possibly from a Visual Design background)
- Full ownership of the Interaction Design project
- Excellent prototyping and layout skills which can be articulated clearly to internal customers and development teams
- Comfortable using existing design systems, proactively recommending ways to improve and extend them
- Ability to interpret quantitative and qualitative research and how this informs the interaction design process
- Familiarity working in a complex landscape, ideally with experience in financial services
- Collaborative mindset to work closely and quickly with a multi-disciplinary team
- Strong ability to see designs through to delivery, communicating with developers to meet specifications
- Strong advocacy of customer inclusivity and accessibility
Responsibilities
- Skilfully craft the end-to-end user experience to create a cohesive journey
- Bring designs to life using prototyping software such as Sketch, InVision, Figma, Axure, or Adobe XD
- Balance business requirements with user needs, gathering user research to align stakeholders
- Adapt to technical constraints while still guiding on creating the best possible end user experience
- Advocate customer inclusion, designing for a wide range of ages, backgrounds, and technical abilities

We are looking for a UX Designer for a 6-month fixed-term contract based in one of our hub locations: Bristol, Leeds, Manchester, Edinburgh, or Halifax.
