Requirements
Must:
- Experience in Back End Software Engineering
- Proven experience with Java, capable of coding complex functionalities
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Knowledge of Containerisation & Kubernetes
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and building secure solutions
- Familiarity with Spanner DB
- Knowledge of database management (e.g., DB2 and/or SQL)
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs
- Proven leadership and mentoring experience
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform) is desirable
- Experience in Kafka is a plus
- Knowledge of Dynatrace is advantageous
- Prior experience leading teams is beneficial
- Financial services industry background is useful
Responsibilities
- Lead technical discussions with collaborators to identify needs and implement solutions
- Craft and build backend solutions using infrastructure as code
- Prototype and develop reusable components
- Write automated test scripts and perform code reviews
- Develop and maintain technical documentation
- Collaborate with internal, external, and third-party teams to deliver world-class solutions
- Provide leadership, education, and mentoring to junior colleagues
