Requirements
Must:
- Strong experience with workload automation tools (e.g., IBM Workload Automation or similar)
- Hands-on knowledge of container orchestration (Kubernetes, GKE, or OpenShift)
- Familiarity with Helm charts, YAML, and deploying applications in a cloud-native environment
- Understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and GitOps principles
- Exposure to Internal Developer Platforms (IDP) such as Backstage (preferred)
- Scripting skills in Python or Bash for automation (preferred)
- Experience managing monolithic estates during migration to modern platforms (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Join our Observability & Data Transfer Lab within Operations & Service Enablement
- Ensure critical systems are scheduled, automated, and operational for millions of customers daily
- Participate in the transformation from traditional TWS scheduling to modern containerised platforms
- Safeguard our monolithic estate to maintain service stability during migration
- Share ideas openly, contribute to team celebrations, and invest in personal growth
- Access training and opportunities to work on cutting-edge automation projects
- Encourage volunteering and community initiatives
