Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in leading software engineering teams & projects within large, distributed systems.
- Strong programming skills with a good working knowledge of Swift and modern toolsets like Git, Xcode, XCTest, XCUITest and Jenkins.
- Diverse technical experience and a proven ability to deliver high quality applications at scale.
- Solid knowledge on software architecture and security patterns.
- Ability to effectively communicate and work together across engineering to maximise inner-sourcing opportunities and reduce waste.
- A capable technical lead, who takes ownership of delivery and is willing to help grow and guide junior engineers towards appropriate target architectures.
Responsibilities
- Work as part of a self-organised engineering team to design and develop software features or services.
- Deliver the highest quality customer-driven software while mentoring and supporting the engineering teams.
- Continuously challenge and motivate your team, fostering a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and high performance.
- Collaborate with product and engineering leads to achieve the vision and customer outcomes by writing well-factored and tested code.
- Drive technical initiatives across multiple teams, unblocking challenges and proving out new patterns and solutions for full use.
- Influence positively by demonstrating the right values and behaviors as the organization improves how it delivers.
