Requirements
Must:
- Technical experience with Cisco Data Centre Network architecture and design
- Technical hands-on experience in deploying and operating Advanced Cisco Infrastructure (Cisco ACI)
- Modern Engineering background using the latest tools and techniques
- Experience of infrastructure as code and CI/CD
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Shell, Python, or Ansible
- Familiarity with Terraform and cloud native provisioning templates
- Understanding of modern networking components
- Experience with JIRA/Confluence, ServiceNow for Incident, Change, and Problem Management
- Knowledge of integrating Checkpoint Firewalls and F5 Services onto Cisco ACI
Responsibilities
- Lead the redesign and integration of a dynamic, scalable, software-defined network solution
- Optimize toolsets for managed networks and boundary controls within our data centres
- Collaborate within the Data Centre network team to redefine delivery and operational capabilities based on DevOps principles
- Enable the Software Defined Data Centre initiative from proof of concept to a fully managed service
- Embrace a can-do mindset and willingness to learn new skills on the job
