Requirements
Must:
We are looking for someone with 2-5 years of experience working in IT operations. You should have proven experience in rolling out IT infrastructures across various technologies. An excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, firewalls, VPNs, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, as well as VOIP network traffic and routing, is essential. A strong understanding of IT infrastructure and operations best practices is also required. You should hold a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or possess equivalent qualifications and experience. Cisco networking qualifications or Microsoft Core infrastructure qualifications would be beneficial.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management, security, and maintenance of Lincat's Information Technology (IT) infrastructure, including all IT infrastructure, hardware, and data storage systems. I expect you to monitor the performance of IT systems to ensure reliability and continuity of service. You will define IT infrastructure strategy, architecture, and processes while making recommendations for continuous improvement. Your duties will include troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing the annual budget for IT, and maintaining the IT asset register of all software and hardware. I need you to ensure that company and group IT policies are implemented and followed. You will install, configure, and maintain server and client computer systems, manage access to wireless systems, and ensure IT system security and data integrity. Additionally, you will be responsible for supporting employees with their computer needs and monitoring the company's internet and email use to ensure compliance with company policies.
