Requirements
Must:
- A recent graduate in a relevant subject such as data science, maths, or computer science
- Early experience working with data and SQL
- Strong SQL skills, including joins, subqueries, and ideally window functions
- A clear interest in data, analytics, and problem solving
- The ability to understand requirements and communicate clearly with others
- Curiosity to learn, build, and explore data beyond the basics
- Bonus: Experience with BigQuery or similar tools
- Bonus: An understanding of data modelling or warehouse concepts
- Bonus: Experience working with education data
Responsibilities
- Turning raw data into meaningful insights
- Building high-quality datasets using advanced SQL, including window functions
- Transforming data from systems into clean, reporting-ready tables
- Working closely with the Insights team to understand and deliver data requirements
- Supporting dashboards and reporting used across the trust
- Validating and quality checking data to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Helping reduce the time it takes to turn data requests into usable insights
- Acting as the bridge between raw data and decision-making
- Assisting teams in accessing information to improve outcomes
