Must:
We are looking for someone with a strong background in product management, who can take a product vision through to delivery. You should have proven experience leading remote teams, ideally in a start-up or agile environment. A key skill is the ability to code in PHP/Laravel and effectively review others' code. You should have a track record of delivering consumer-facing platforms or marketplaces while balancing business priorities, user needs, and technical feasibility. A solid grasp of agile methodologies, MVPs, and iterative delivery cycles is essential. Additionally, you should be UX-aware with a keen eye for detail and quality.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will own the end-to-end delivery of the MVP for our e-commerce marketplace. You will lead and manage a team of four offshore developers and be responsible for recruiting and growing your own high-performing team as the product scales. You will conduct code reviews and technical assessments (PHP/Laravel/WordPress) while driving multiple feedback cycles to improve the product with real-world insights. Collaboration with design and brand teams to shape the user experience will be a key part of your job. You will also assess existing teams and processes to optimize them, and we expect you to be a hands-on leader who can roll up your sleeves and problem-solve in the trenches.
Description
This position is based in our office in Eastleigh for two days a week and allows for three days of remote work. We offer a 40-hour working week, which can be flexible to fit around your lifestyle. Core office days are Monday and Friday, with core hours on those days being from 10 AM to 3 PM; all other hours can be worked flexibly. We provide 30 days of holiday, in addition to bank holidays.
