Requirements
Must:
- Technical skills in PHP and/or Elementor
- Experience in UX or coding for an e-marketplace
- Previous experience leading an international team of developers
- Involvement in an MVP is desirable, though not essential
- Superb communication skills with the ability to convey technical vision to non-technical teams
Responsibilities
- Deliver a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) of an e-commerce marketplace from consumer entry point through to exit point
- Guide the technical strategy, including evaluating a shift from verbose languages to modern AI-integrated tools
- Oversee vendor management, including international development agencies (e.g., current team in India, potential team in Romania)
- Build feedback loops with new clients to inform the product roadmap
Description
We are a fantastic Tech start-up business based in Hampshire, disrupting the market with our innovative products. We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to lead our offshore development team in taking a new product to market. You will report to our Director and help build out a team of experienced developers, while utilizing client feedback to continuously improve our product offering. We offer 30 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, access to trade shows and events, and practical and certified training. Our working hours are 40 hours per week with core hours of 10-3, Monday to Friday, allowing for flexible scheduling around your lifestyle and project commitments. This role provides the opportunity to design and develop solutions that align with your vision. Although initially based in Portsmouth, you should be comfortable with a future office relocation to Eastleigh or Winchester.
