Requirements
Must:
- At least 2 years experience in full stack development using JavaScript and TypeScript
- Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure built on AWS using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Good understanding of microservices architecture
- Experience with frontend frameworks and cross-platform web/mobile technologies
- Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines supporting continuous integration and delivery
- Experience with automated testing (unit, integration and end-to-end)
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Experience with AWS CDK, Terraform or similar technologies would be particularly beneficial
- Relevant cloud certifications are desirable
Responsibilities
- Work closely with engineers, product teams and stakeholders to design, build and maintain modern software solutions
- Contribute across the full development lifecycle to create scalable, reliable systems used by organisations across the UK
- Design, build and maintain applications using TypeScript or JavaScript
- Develop scalable backend services and modern web and mobile frontends
- Work with cloud-native infrastructure and microservices architectures
- Contribute to automated testing including unit, integration and end-to-end tests
- Support CI/CD pipelines and continuous delivery practices
- Participate in Agile development processes
