Requirements
Must:
- I have experience in defining and maintaining the appropriate technical solution for the programme, engaging business stakeholders to understand their needs, justifying strategy to obtain approvals, and ensuring solutions are designed and followed.
- I possess an in-depth understanding of technology and technical principles, theories, concepts, and their applications across a range of programmes and contexts.
- I have knowledge and experience with core IT capabilities including Cloud, Infrastructure & Networks, Application (including development), Data (including databases, analytics, AI, and ML), IT Service Management (ITIL), Cyber Security, and Automation.
- I am highly skilled in solutioning and designing complex mission-critical systems and services that meet customer needs, while remaining implementable within schedule and budget.
- I have excellent communication skills to engage with executive leadership, articulating and justifying investment proposals and providing technical direction and leadership to the programme.
- My written and presentation communication skills are exceptional.
- I have experience conducting technical solution reviews for large programmes and bids, ensuring their success.
- Experience in the Defence domain is highly desirable.
- This role requires Developed Vetting (DV) Security Clearance. I must be suitable for the process and ready to commence my application immediately upon a successful application.
Responsibilities
- I will provide technical leadership and Solution Architecture services across all delivery aspects of the programme, including oversight and assurance.
- I will own and maintain all High-Level Design artefacts and client-facing architecture and design materials.
- I will serve as the solution lead for all Change Requests raised by the customer.
- I will maintain the technical strategy and roadmap for the programme.
- I will collaborate with the programme leadership, including the Programme Manager, Chief Engineer, Service, and Security Leads, to ensure successful programme execution.
- I will develop and maintain a trustworthy advisor relationship with customer technical, programme, and end-user leadership to align and sustain shared objectives.
- I will perform systems requirements analysis, functional analysis, timeline analysis, trade studies, requirements allocation, interface definition, technical management, integration, system testing, and quality assurance.
- I will influence the development of solutions that impact programme goals and results, recommending and developing new technical solutions, products, and approaches in support of the programme.
- I will lead and manage the work of technical staff where it significantly impacts solution and technical deliverables.
- I will resolve highly complex problems using significant applications of technical knowledge, reasoning, and interpretation.
- I will communicate with executive leadership regarding matters of significant importance to the programme and work to convince others to accept new concepts and solutions for programme delivery.
