Requirements
Must:
- Degree in Computer Science, Technical Science, or a similar field
- Experience in software development projects; both front-end and back-end development
- Proficiency in unit, integration, system, and regression testing
- Strong hands-on experience with Java programming and familiarity with other languages such as JavaScript, Python, and Perl
- Familiarity with frameworks such as React, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Angular, Vue.js, and Java Spring
- Experience with software development tools like Jira, Confluence, Git, SVN, Jenkins, and Packer
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Strong interest in advancing technical skills
- Capability to innovate, resourcefully solve problems, and collaborate effectively
- Integration experience with XSLT, XHTML, IBM WebSphere MQ, or IBM Sterling OMS
- Additional experience or interest in container technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, UNIX or Linux environments, J2EE, Restful Web Services, Node.js, and proficiency in Build Management, Configuration & Release Management
Responsibilities
- Act as a developer, integrator, and analyst for complex assignments, collaborating with other developers on production issues
- Participate in application walkthroughs and peer code reviews to ensure compliance with standards
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation
- Consistently apply IT software standards and contribute to establishing department-specific standards
- Build Java programs to meet business needs, alongside other complex IT solutions
- Implement best practices for Build and Deployment
- Approach tasks practically and be willing to get ‘hands on’ to deliver required outcomes
