Requirements

Must:
We are looking for a 3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer who possesses excellent knowledge of MS System Centre Configuration Manager/Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM). You should have a solid understanding of Virtualized Environments such as VMware and Hyper-V, along with experience in Windows Server environments (from Server 2003 to 2019), including OS build, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy (GPO) from design to implementation and support. A good general knowledge of TCP/IP and networking technologies, including load balancing and firewalls, is essential. You should also be familiar with Microsoft stack technologies such as SharePoint, Skype for Business/Teams, MS SQL, MS System Centre (SCSM, SCOM, SCORCH), Office365, MS Exchange, and CLI tooling such as PowerShell. Knowledge of SAN storage technologies is also desirable. You must demonstrate excellent analysis and problem-solving skills, taking ownership of complex incidents to ensure they are resolved to the customer's satisfaction. Excellent communication skills and experience in producing and updating technical documentation to a high standard are required. Candidates must hold DV clearance.

Responsibilities

As a 3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer at Leidos UK, you will be primarily responsible for the operation and maintenance of MS System Centre Configuration Manager (SCCM)/Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM). In this role, you will apply your extensive knowledge of various technologies, including Microsoft Windows Server services, virtualization, networking, and storage. You will have the opportunity to work on both project activities and operational support tasks, providing on-site support and out-of-hours on-call support when necessary. You will contribute to the creation and ongoing maintenance of technical documentation and support project work and operational services.
