Must:
We are looking for a Systems Engineer who has experience in requirements management and associated software (e.g., DOORS). You should have experience or knowledge of software architecture within a real-time and/or safety-related system and/or mission-critical environment. A comprehensive understanding of the complete system life cycle from problem definition through to deployment, along with experience in adhering to processes within a software development environment, is essential. You must be able to work effectively as part of a multi-functional product team (including Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Test, and Engineering Management) and be an enthusiastic self-starter with strong attention to detail and verbal communication skills. Excellent written communication skills through emails, presentations, and reports are also required. Familiarity with various software development methodologies is a must.
Responsibilities
As a Systems Engineer, you will work on the development of our award-winning ATM system while supporting Air Traffic Control Officers (ATCO) in enhancing their operations. You'll collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), product architects, and product requirements to define low-level software requirements. You will conduct functional and technical analysis to shape the system design and produce detailed engineering artifacts including engineering plans and processes, system element descriptions, and control and monitoring design documents. Your role will also involve preparing operational instructions and training materials for the software application and assisting in defining overarching product concepts and software architecture. Additionally, you will help investigate problems during testing and operations, review test artifacts, apply relevant standards and principles, and assist with impact assessments for product releases or change requests.
