Requirements
Must:
- UK Citizenship is required.
- Ability to write and verbally communicate information security and risk-related concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with poise and ability to act calmly under pressure.
- Fundamental understanding of accepted security practices, troubleshooting issues, attack vectors, and customer support.
- Understanding of Operating Systems and Network Protocols.
- Foundational understanding of advanced threat detection in an enterprise environment.
- Foundational understanding of malware families, their types, and the threats they pose.
- BSc in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or other Cyber Security field from an accredited university is desired.
- 2-4 years of endpoint security experience is preferred.
- Experience operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining endpoint security solutions (e.g., Anti-Virus, Host Firewall, EDR).
Responsibilities
- Manage daily ticket queue.
- Provide operational support & maintenance for endpoint security solutions (e.g., Anti-Virus, Host Firewall, Forensics-based tools).
- Handle rotational on-call responsibilities (minimal for the UK).
- Implement and enforce technical controls based on inputs from the CSIRC and other internal teams.
- Support change management tasks related to security policies for endpoint security solutions.
- Collaborate with team lead/manager to ensure timely execution of tasks.
- Write and ensure documentation for supported endpoint security products is centrally accessible.
- Create and monitor reporting for compliance.
- Assist in troubleshooting complex problems across endpoint security solutions.
- Provide inputs to the Endpoint Cybersecurity Engineering team for identifying and remediating gaps in vendor solutions.
- Facilitate inter-departmental meetings to coordinate security solutions and updates.
