Requirements
Must:
- Significant experience in Air Traffic Control or safety-critical regulated industries
- Expert at breaking down complex technical problems into manageable plans
- Strong experience across the full engineering lifecycle including governance and performance analysis
- Deep expertise in systems engineering or technical business analysis
- Experience with large-scale systems integration and architecture
- Advanced capability in modelling, simulation, and evidence-based decision-making
- Strong understanding of data and information architectures
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Proactive technical advocate with continuous learning mindset
- Recognised technical authority who mentors and develops engineers
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of solutions that influence strategic goals and business results
- Lead and inspire multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver complex technical outcomes
- Break down complex technical problems into delivery plans with clear ownership
- Guide teams through technical governance processes
- Provide authoritative technical leadership, owning compliance and technical assurance
- Mentor team members and set high standards for technical quality and professionalism
- Collaborate with subject matter experts on detailed designs and project goals
