Requirements
Must:
- Security clearance level: DV
- Proficiency in Windows desktop administration
- Experience with Windows Server administration (including Active Directory, Skype for Business, Exchange, DFSR, etc.)
- Knowledge of Dell PowerEdge server and Dell PowerVault administration
- Familiarity with VMware ESXi, vCenter
- Experience with Cisco and Dell switches (VLANs, dot1x)
- Understanding of Juniper firewalls
Desirable Skills:
- Ability to create and update high-level and low-level design documentation
- Experience with PowerShell scripting
- Knowledge of F5 Big IP LTM
- Familiarity with data diodes
Responsibilities
- Investigate issues escalated from Tier 2 Engineers
- Review, track, and implement Modcert alerts and directives
- Provide technical support and mentoring to other team members
- Update the IEP Change Pack and IEP Weekly Support Pack
- Manage licensing and certificates monthly
- Perform non-standard software patching and upgrades as needed
- Conduct site visits to resolve technical faults, implement new systems, or meet with customers/users
- Engage in Engineering Change Requests (ECRs)
- Perform systems administration activities and regular maintenance tasks
- Develop new tools and scripts for Tier 1 and 2 engineers
- Create, update, and maintain technical knowledge base articles and documentation
- Work to improve and streamline current processes
- Engage with 3rd party vendors and ensure the smooth running of infrastructure and support processes
- Lead in resolution of major support incidents
- Work independently to achieve a variety of tasks
